Katrina Kaif is not doing 'Raees' with Shah Rukh Khan

After a less than successful pairing in YRF`s `Jab Tak Hai Jaan`, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan were rumoured to have come together for Rahul Dholakia`s `Raees`.

But recently the actress has come out in the open to declare that she was not approached for the movie. 

"I don`t know where this news has come from. There is no such discussion like that till now. There are three films `Bang Bang`, `Phantom` and `Jagga Jassos` that I am doing right now. I am in talks for two more projects which I can`t reveal," Katrina told PTI.

With some pretty big films in her kitty, it seems it is going to be a while before we see the two superstars together again.

Even director Rahul Dholakia dismissed the report and said, "I don`t think so we have approached her. But we will surely finalise the leading lady in a couple of weeks."

There is more gossip about the actress that she has been offered Ashutosh Gowarikar`s upcoming period film. But the actress refused to reveal any details and left us guessing whether it was true or not.

"I feel for whatever films I am in discussion with a filmmaker it is not correct to talk about it unless one is doing it because if it doesn`t work out then it makes things awkward for the people and the project," she said.

Presently, Katrina is busy with `Bang Bang` opposite Hrithik Roshan and `Jagga Jasoos` with rumored boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

The actress has delivered two hit films with Ranbir earlier in `Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani` and `Rajneeti`.

"Both the films that Ranbir and I did were really liked by people and were successful. It is exciting for me to work with Ranbir again, he is a great actor. Director Anurag Basu is one of the finest directors that we have today and I am privileged to work with him," she said.

Besides, she has Kabir Khan`s `Phantom` with Saif Ali Khan, with whom she is pairing up for the first time.

As of now SRK and Farhan Khan are coming together for `Raees`, and it is also rumoured that Sonam Kapoor may star in it. Tentatively the movie will release on Eid, 2015.

Sri Lankan vacation of Ranbir and Kat

Alleged lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina were believed to have called it quits after a spat but if the latest reports are anything to go by, then the two are still going strong together.

After a much controversial Spanish vacation last year, RK and Kat are reportedly planning to spend some time together in Sri Lanka. The couple had made desperate attempts to keep their trip to Ibiza hush-hush, but images of the two in their swimming costumes surfaced online, thereby creating much hullabaloo.

Both Ranbir and Katrina have been tight-lipped about their relationship and have categorically denied being in love with each other. But the pictures that emerged after their Spanish trip painted a different picture.

Nonetheless, the two seemingly have made up their minds to let bygones be bygones and plan yet another trip to be with one another amidst their busy schedules.

Katrina is currently busy shooting with Hrithik Rohsan for ‘Bang-Bang’ in Manali and her alleged beau is in Sri Lanka for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’.

Katrina Kaif can't act?'

She might be a Bollywood megastar, but ironically, not many in the film fraternity rate Katrina Kaif even moderately, when it comes to her acting skills.

From being called 'eye candy' in hero-centric films to being considered 'non-existent' in her latest, Dhoom: 3 - she's heard it all. Ask Kaif about it, and she says unperturbed, "It's okay... I mean, if that's what they feel, that's what they feel!"

Prod her further about whether it upsets her when most guests on Karan Johar's ongoing chat show, too, rate her the lowest in terms of acting abilities, and the 30-year-old calmly says, "No, it doesn't. People are entitled to their opinion, and I can't have an opinion on someone else's opinion."

When asked if she feels that people pull her down because she's competition for them, Kat responds with a cheeky giggle, saying nothing. 

Criticism on her acting skills apart, the actor is also a favourite when it comes to rumours. Ask her how she has been dealing, of late, with constant speculations around her personal life and relationships, and she sighs before breaking into a giggle, saying, "Oh, yes! These speculations... I've kind of started to expect them now. As an actor, you eventually learn to accept such things as a part of your life."

So, what is it that she misses the most of a normal life? "Not having to worry about other people's opinion!" pat comes the reply.

Dhoom 3: High expectations from Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif

With two highly successful prequels, it is no wonder that the expectations from the movie, produced under the Yash Raj Films banner and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, are high. Also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif, the movie`s music and trailers have already proven to be an appetiser for the audiences.

Touted as one of the biggest releases this year, it comes with an expectation of towering over the box office collections of past releases of 2013. Made on an extravagant budget of approximately Rs.100 crore, the film will be releasing in about 4,000 screens in India. "There is a possibility of the film crossing the Rs.300 crore mark. But we will have to wait and watch," said Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines. In the film, Abhishek and Uday will be seen reprising their roles of Jai Dixit and Ali from the last two "Dhoom" movies, while Aamir steps in to play a negative role as a gymnast.

Aamir essays Sahir - The Clown Thief, and Katrina plays Aaliya - The Acrobat Diva.

The film`s promotions have been low key as "less is more" for the movie, Aamir had said earlier. Promoting films on television shows seems to have become a trend, but "Dhoom 3" comes as an exception. The cast has not been seen on many TV shows promoting the film although superstar Salman Khan was seen talking about the film on his show "Bigg Boss-Saath 7". "We believe that less is more for this film and even curiosity will be there," said Aamir, whose innovative promotions and marketing of his own productions, are always a hit.

In fact, to maintain the novelty of the film, the makers decided against having any sort of preview show including one which is usually organised for the cast and crew of the film. For "Dhoom 3", the makers have, however, gone all out as far as launching an extensive range of merchandise is concerned.

From mobile phones and Barbie dolls to fashion accessories and notebooks - there are over 200 varieties of products and 20 partners with a combined penetration at more than 20,000 retail touch points. The price ranges from Rs 69 to Rs 9,000. "Dhoom 3" will be Bollywood`s first movie to be released in the IMAX format, a specialized film format.

Starting its journey with the first in the "Dhoom" series in 2003, the franchise has had an increasing number of fans with each film. The first movie starred John Abraham as the villain, while the second installment "Dhoom 2", which came out in 2006, was also a blockbuster. It featured Hrithik Roshan as the bad man.

Different Katrina

Katrina is always praised for her professional behavior. But recently this ‘Dhoom 3’ heroine has been criticized for her rough behavior at Dubai. Recently Kat went to Dubai for taking part in a program for publicity. She kept the reporters wait for hours. Letter she came, but talked a very few words with them. When a reporter asked her about Ranbir Kapoor, she became very annoyed and refused to give any interview with that reporter. Not only that, she also refused the schedule interview with all other reporters.

Aamir wants Salman-Kat wedding

Though Salman – Kat relationship has been broken down long days ago, Aamir Khan wants that Katrina would marry Salman Khan. Aamir has a good and friendly relationship with Salman Khan. In ‘Dhoom 3’ Aamir has made a pair with Katrina. Recently in a press conference about the movie Aamir and Kat met the journalists. There he asked Katrina that has she ever proposed Salman to marry her.  Aamir said that he has been perusing Salman to get married. But Salman is not Responding. He thinks that if Kat propose Salman to marry her, Salman certainly would accept her.
